I was curious about the Paper Pumpkin subscription so I decided I’d try it out beginning October. My thinking was that I felt I would be limited by the pre-cut and coordinated card fronts and embellishments. However, when I received the October 2021 Paper Pumpkin Kit, I was blown away by how many items were packed in the box. It came with 10 cards (5 each of 2 designs) of the Peaceful Christmas DSP, 7 stamps, a green spruce ink spot, stamp block, precut velum trees, 5 green/black gingham card fronts, red twine, as well as other embellishments. It also came with color instructions and suggestions on how to put together the cards.
With the reveal of the Peaceful Christmas cards, I immediately was able to think of at least 5 different alternatives for the cards, including the envelopes! For this card, I popped the precut spruce green/black card front on foam dimensional strips and die cut a snowy hill to fit the size of the card front. I colored the precut Noel greeting with the dark Cherry Cobbler Stampin’ Blends. For added interest, I embellished the trees with red rhinestones.
